The reason for being

Many seniors experience loneliness, reduced social opportunities, and fewer opportunities to remain active after retirement.

At the same time, seniors possess tremendous life experience, creativity, leadership, and wisdom that continue to enrich our communities.

YRCAC exists to create opportunities for seniors to stay physically active, mentally engaged, socially connected, and emotionally fulfilled through arts, education, wellness, and meaningful community participation.

We believe healthy aging is about much more than physical health.

It is about friendship.

Purpose.

Creativity.

Learning.

Belonging.

And living life to its fullest.
